Local Virginia girl Joy Hanes is committed to being a trusted real estate professional, serving her friends, family, and community. Since 2013, Joy Hanes has been a full-time, licensed REALTOR and a dedicated part of several top real estate sales teams in Richmond, Virginia. She joined Wind Chime Properties, a smaller boutique brokerage, with like-minded family and community-oriented goals.

Before working as a REALTOR, she enjoyed and thrived in a career in both the restaurant and medical industry, furthering her love of service. Raised in Goochland, VA, Joy is number four of eight children and enjoys time with her large close-knit family. She is also committed to being a foster mom, devoting her time to providing a safe, loving space for children, as well as a CASA Volunteer, with a commitment to ensuring children are safe and provided for in their homes.

Joy is an avid animal lover and has worked with local rescues and her therapy dog, serving local schools, hospitals, and nursing homes in the area. To truly unwind, Joy enjoys  the outdoors in nature, motorcycle rides on the country backroads, cooking at home and exploring new recipes, or relaxing with the dogs and a good book.
